The ability to pull himself up using the bar is a recent accomplishment for Dylan, who has cerebral palsey, and his parents hope his participation in an adult stem cell study at the Duke University School of Medicine will provide him the opportunity to reach more milestones.

Corvallis resident Steve Wojcikiewicz said he opposes a proposed increase to Oregon's beer tax because he thinks it will hurt local businesses. People are cutting back on their expenses. Even a modest increase in the cost of a pint is going to mean fewer pints sold.
